Private Trading

The Trading House the place to go to trade with other residents, but you must have the License to Commerce to trade with anyone.

To trade with another resident, click the "Initiate a new trade link" in the Pending Trades section. Type in the name of the resident you wish to trade with, or, if the resident is on your friends list, select his or her name from the drop-down box. You can type a short message to accompany your trade (for example, to ask for what you would like to receive) - this is optional. Then enter the amount of money you want to send (you must have it "on-hand") and/or check the box(es) next to the item(s) you want to send. You do not have to offer both money and items. You can also start a trade by offering nothing, if your friend has offered to send you items of money, or if you are moving items between accounts you control.

When you have a trade pending, and icon that looks like a two-way arrow will appear under the main PsyPets logo. Click it to go to the bank (or click the link to The Bank in the navigation bar on the left side of the page). There, you will see your pending trades.

If someone has initiated a trade with you, you will see links to "Negotiate Trade" or "Cancel Trade." When you click "Negotiate Trade" you can change the message accompanying the trade if you like, and can offer money or items by entering the amount of moneys under the message field, or clicking the box(es) next to the item(s) you wish to offer. If you click "Cancel Trade" the trading process ends, and the initiator's items or money are returned to him or her.
If you initiated the trade, and your friend has proposed a counter-offer, you will see the options to "Accept Trade" or "Cancel Trade." "Accept Trade" means you are satisfied with what you are giving and recieving, and clicking it completes the trading process. "Cancel Trade," as before, ends the process, and returns both parties money and/or items.

Public Trading

There is also public trading. On this page, you can trade items for other items or moneys. On the left is what they are asking, and the right, what they are offering. Just click the accept button on the left if you have the right items in storage
