Thieving no longer exists. Page preserved for archiving purposes only.
Quick, alert and silent pets make better thieves then ones that parade around in bright red uniforms and march over fields. (e.g. Members of the British Army in the 1700s, to the early 1800s. Called Lobsters, Redcoats, and other such names by Americans.)
Pets thieve items from monsters, not other human players. The same monsters are beaten up by Adventuring pets, though thieving is considered to be a bit nicer since the monsters aren't mauled afterwards.
Thieves need to have a high speed ability, as well as the ability to hide (they love hide and seek).
They can become very good at capture the flag, assuming that they can find the flag, they often have trouble doing that if they have no Hunting skills. They do manage to chase down pets in their side of the field, but often have no luck capturing them without any strength to pounce on them with.
