How to get it

Uses

• "Add Candle" in one of 10 spots as an offering to the Psypets Gods
• Candles in certain orders build different spells (slot placement is irrelevant)
• Candle in 1st spot burns for 15 hours, increasing one hour per slot, i.e., slot 10 burns for 24 hours
• Spells build up every hour and can be cast at 100% (spells can stack)

Candles

Some gods like certain candles better than others and thus burning different candles to different gods will have different effects. Certain combinations of candles please a god so much that they become a spell, creating a special effect for your pets

Until proven, these are educated guesses and there is a chance that some candles may in actuality be favored by more than one god. This page will be subject to change as we learn more.

Spells

Due to the 61,917,364,224 (61 billion) possible combinations finding one with no hints from That Guy Ben is pretty slim. The following is what have been deduced so far from the available sources.

Spells can overlap. for example, you could line up "Red, Black, Black, Red, Black, Black, Red" to build up the Blood Moon spell twice as fast. Of course, more interesting overlapping possibilities exist, especially since some spells allow you to fill certain spots with any candle you want.

Spells include things like "make my pets happy", "summon some food", change my avatar to a graphic which is only available via that spell and there are some PvP-related spells, too.

Spells will wait there for you to cast them for an indefinite time period. Building up a spell faster by repeating it's candle pattern sometimes results in a spell being built up more strongly as well. If a spell has been built up strongly enough it can be cast multiple times before needing to be recharged.

Blood oozes from the shrine

Gives between 1 and 10 blood.

Imp Gate

Candle arrangement: Black, Red, *any*, Red, Black

May be a bad spell to cast according to Thaddeus. Found in a book called The Imp.

SUCCESS: A glowing red portal opens up, out of which steps an imp. It takes a look around, squeaks, and waddles into the house.

Summons a neutered male of this pet:

Raise Dead

Candle arrangement: White, Black, Vanilla, Black, White

From the Book of the Dead: The book is written in some ancient language, however one part - a short list - appears to be in English...

This is a VERY slow building and expensive spell that resurrects a dead pet as a Zombie to come live with you.

Zombies can be killed by torch-wielding villagers.

Chocolate Chaos

Candle arrangement: Chocolate, *any*, *any*, Chocolate

Transforms baking chocolate in unlocked rooms into (order of most to least common) Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Blueberries, Goodberries, Redsberries, wax, Shade Essence.

• Fail: "You catch a whiff of chocolate, but it passes."
• Pass: "With an unsettling bubbling sound, all ## of the Baking Chocolate in your house are transformed!"

Dancing Light

Candle arrangement: *any*, *any*, Silver

Makes all your awake and alive pets happy.

Summon Scroll

Candle arrangement: Silver, White, Amethyst Rose

Summons a scroll. Any scroll, from Nettling Scroll to The Imp at random.

Success: A scroll - (name of Scroll) - unfurls itself before you.

• Most to least common summons: Nettling Scroll, Clairvoyance Scroll, The Earth Golem's Song, Scroll of Local Teleportation, Food-Summoning Scroll, The Astronomer, The Two Travelers and the Axe, The Imp, Lesser Divination Scroll
• May summon 2-3 scrolls at once on rare occasion.
• NOTE: If cast more than once in a row, it also creates Dancing Lights (to make your pets happy!).

Angel's Choir

Candle arrangement: White, White, Vanilla

Choose an item to reclaim the Gossamer and Dark Gossamer from (any other materials will be lost). Only recyclable items in your Storage are listed here.

Be warned! If you choose an item which does not contain Gossamer or Dark Gossamer, the item will still be destroyed, and you will receive nothing!

• Add a silver candle afterward to build up dancing light, too.

Found as a random effect from a Scroll of Monster Summoning.

A wizard appears, looking very confused, but even more so, very miffed.

"I was in the middle of a spell, you twit! Well, I have a spell for you! Amethyst Rose, Fire Spice, Fire Spice!! ... Oh, I mean: Lilac, Pumpkin Spice, Lilac!!"

Having said this, she twirls her wand in your general direction, and vanishes. (And you're pretty sure you overheard her muttering "damn, I always get those two confused," on her way out.)
