At Shady's pawn shop, you can trade items that are in your storage for items of slightly lower value. This is a good way to get items that are otherwise hard to get. The trades Shady offers are different for each resident, and changes daily.
Around midnight to 1am (EST), Shady tends to be restocking, so the shop is closed, and the only thing that shows up on the page is the message: "Sorry, we're restocking right now. Come back a little later, though, okay?"
Shady's pawn shop also offers the service Shady likes to call 'Featured Items.' Featured Items are the 20 items in the game with the highest sellback price, but the list shows their estimated market value (at 2x sellback).
