Summary

Unfinished Summary: (about 1/3rd done?) Ben begins the Broadcast by wondering if he regularly brings up any topic in particular during Broadcasts and decides that he doesn't. He then laments and apologizes that nothing has happened lately on PsyPets. Afterward, he realizes that he needs to turn the microphone on and begins reading PsyMails.

SnailTsunami sends a humorous message asking Ben if he's prepared to broadcast, and Ben replies that he does appear to be prepared.

Rika asks why soybeans were added to PsyPets. Ben replies that SoyBeans, like many other items, may not have been added for any particular purpose, but that they do appear to be useful in several recipies, such as Gong Bao Chicken and tea eggs.

Lenneth suggests that Ben should implement a system that would allow players to select specific quantities of items to transfer to another player when using Private Trading in a way similar to the Seller's Market method, instead of the current method where players have to count each individual item that they select to send. Ben seems to agree with this idea, and mentions that it should be a new "mode" you can choose to swap to, so that players can still select specific items if they wish.

Irene123 asks how to obtain a License to Commerce, and Ben explains that a LtC must be purchased and that there is a License to Commerce tab on the bank page.

Ined suggests adding more items for donating to the temple as a money-sink. Ben explains how god auctions work and then agrees that adding more "minor things" to be given "immediately for donating" would be a good idea. He then expresses some doubt at what those items might be.

ColorfulEyrie asks "what happened to the comics?" Ben replies that he hasn't been working on PsyPets as much lately, and that when he has been working on the site he has felt that it is more important to work on or fix higher priority aspects of the site, such as the seller's market. Ben also mentions and makes a note to himself that he needs a new microphone.

Ined sends Ben a link to a recent thread where The Traveller revealed how some players learn what items are in the current Storage Box, and mentions that it would be more fair to reveal this information to all PsyPets players. Ben mentions that he and Hector discussed this subject over lunch and discusses in detail the various methods one can use to determine what may be in a storage box. He then goes on to say that the only real way to keep players from being able to determine what is in a Box would be to create a "pool" of all the items taken from deleted accounts, and then place only half of that day's items into the Storage Box so that the box would contain, at most, only half the expected items from recently deleted accounts.
