Gathering is similar to hunting, except that pets will gather different foods and find different materials (such as rubber and logs). All pets will gather when hungry enough, but some truly excel at the art of gathering, and have the potential to bring valuable resources into your home. It is speculated that gathering requires alertness and intelligence. Endurance may also be a factor.
